Randal Childers

Randal Childers is an experienced software engineering and development leader with a strong background in functional safety and quality management across various industries. Currently serving as Software Safety Lead at Glydways since December 2024, Randal previously held roles including Functional Safety Embedded Software Expert at TÜV SÜD and Director of Engineering at Cadence Design Systems, where responsibilities included corporate quality initiatives and management of engineering teams. Randal has also contributed as Vice President in product development and engineering roles at Quantros, AmerisourceBergen, QuadraMed, and McKesson, driving innovation in healthcare technology and software solutions. Randal's early career includes significant positions at Unisys and Novell, leading teams in product development and quality management. Randal holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
