Nicola Savage

Nicola Savage is a seasoned professional in the broadcasting and union sectors, currently serving as the Regional Organiser for Wales & South West at GMB since July 2016. Prior to this role, Nicola contributed to Relate Cymru as a Member of the Board of Trustees/Wales Advisory Group and was actively involved with BECTU as a National Executive Committee member and Branch Secretary. With a rich background at BBC spanning nearly three decades, Nicola held various roles, including researcher, producer, and production finance positions on notable TV and radio programs. Expertise includes managing live studio environments, creative writing, event organization, and detailed financial management. Nicola has further enhanced professional skills through extensive education, including leadership and health & safety certifications, and continues to engage in the GMB Women in Leadership Programme.
