Tim Netscher

Tim Netscher is an experienced mining executive with a robust background in leadership roles within the resource sector. Since September 2014, Tim has served as the Chairman of the Board at Gold Road Resources, overseeing the development and operation of the Gruyere gold mine. Tim's previous positions include Capital Projects Advisor at BHP, Chairman of the Board of Directors at St Barbara Limited, and Non-executive Director at Western Areas Ltd. Additionally, Tim has held chairman positions at DRA Global and Deep Yellow Limited and has experience as Managing Director and CEO at Gindalbie Metals. Tim's educational background includes an MBA focused on Finance and Economics from the University of Cape Town and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand.
