Bernie Keenan

Bernie Keenan is an experienced professional in the housing sector, currently serving as a Board Member and Chair of the New Business Committee at Golden Lane Housing since April 2022. Previously, Bernie held several key positions at Progress Housing Group from March 1999 to July 2022, including Deputy Chief Executive, COO of RWP (Reside with Progress), Executive Director for Services and Growth, and Managing Director of New Progress Housing Association. Additionally, Bernie contributed as a Non-Executive Director for Learning Disability England from December 2015 to September 2019. Bernie holds a CIH Professional Qualification (MCIH) from the Chartered Institute of Housing and a BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of York, complemented by an education at King Edward VI Grammar School in Chelmsford.
