Govind Gopakumar

Govind Gopakumar currently serves as a Vice President and strategist with the Private Credit group at Goldman Sachs, a position held since February 2024. Prior experience at Goldman Sachs includes roles as Associate and Analyst in the Alternative Investments group within the Investment Management Division from June 2018 to August 2021. Additionally, Govind worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2021 to December 2023. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Software Developer and Intern at Siemens, focusing on imaging and computer vision for medical imaging between May 2014 and April 2016. Govind holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the same institution.
