Marit van Rheenen

Marit van Rheenen currently serves as Executive Director and Head of ESG Europe & Asia Pacific for Real Estate at Goldman Sachs since September 2021. Prior to this role, Marit held various positions at JLL from May 2015 to September 2021, including Director and Associate Director of Upstream Sustainability Services. Marit has experience in sustainability consulting, having founded Urban Matters in 2011, and worked in sustainability roles at OVG Investment Management and Dura Vermeer Business Development BV. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Real Estate & Housing, specializing in Urban Area Development, and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Delft University of Technology.
