David Garofalo

David Garofalo, FCPA, FCA, ICD.D, serves as Chairman and CEO of Gold Royalty Corp. since August 2020, and holds the position of Co-Chair of the Board at GoldMining Inc. since January 2023. Additionally, David is a Non-Executive Director at Aris Gold Corporation and the Chairman and CEO of Marshall Precious Metals Fund, both since 2021 and 2019 respectively. David's prior experience includes leadership roles as President and CEO at Goldcorp and Hudbay Minerals Inc., and as Senior Vice President, Finance and CFO at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited. David began a career in finance at Inmet Mining Corporation and Deloitte, gaining a solid foundation in corporate governance and accounting education, including an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and fellowship credentials from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
