Cliff Court

Cliff Court began their career in 1984 as a Design Electronics Engineer at Plessey SA (Pty) Ltd. During their time there, they worked on both software and hardware design projects and was eventually promoted to Head of R&D IT. In 1989, they moved to Chariot Software (Pty) Ltd, where they became the Managing Director. In 1996, they took on the same role at TopSpeed Software SA. From 1998-2000, they were a Masters student at UCT, researching topics related to Information Systems and presenting back to their peers and academic staff. During this time, they also completed a thesis on software project estimation. In 2000, they became the CEO of Coral Technologies and the CTO of Grapevine Interactive. Finally, in 2021, they took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at GoMetro, where they manage several tech teams to design, develop, deploy, and manage data-driven transport orientated products and services.

Cliff Court attended the University of Cape Town from 1998 to 1999, where they obtained an M.Com in Information Systems. Cliff also obtained a B.Sc (Eng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same university.
