Malcolm Murray

Malcolm Murray, RIMS-CRMP, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Research at SaferAI since September 2024. With extensive experience in risk management and research, Malcolm has been a Superforecaster at Good Judgment Inc since June 2014 and held the position of Research Affiliate at the Centre for the Governance of AI from August 2023 to August 2024, where efforts focused on developing risk assessment tools for frontier AI. Previously, Malcolm worked at Gartner from June 2015 to August 2023 as Managing Vice President and Chief of Research, overseeing risk and audit initiatives. Additional roles include Board Member at the Swedish School for Children in Washington DC, Institute Senior Fellow at the Malaysia Blue Ocean Strategy Institute, and various leadership positions at Thomson Reuters from 2002 to 2008. Malcolm's educational qualifications include an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics, along with international study experiences at HEC Paris and Allegheny College.
