Vasily Artyukhov

Vasily Artyukhov is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in the fields of physics and quantitative research. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Mana since November 2022, Vasily also contributes as a Superforecaster at Good Judgment, Inc., a role held since 2015. Prior to this, Vasily held a managerial position as a Quantitative Research Scientist at Quantlab Financial, LLC, from June 2016 to October 2022, and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Rice University from November 2010 to May 2016. Vasily's career began at the Institute of Biochemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, where essential research activities took place from December 2004 to September 2011. Academically, Vasily holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, obtained in 2007, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics / Physical Chemistry from the Institute of Biochemical Physics, pursued from 2007 to 2010.
