Sara Russell

Sara Russell is an accomplished producer with extensive experience in broadcast journalism, currently serving as the showrunner for the second hour of Saturday Good Morning America since June 2016. Throughout a career that began with internships at various news organizations, Sara has developed expertise in producing live remote segments, coordinating with on-air talent, handling celebrity interviews, and collaborating with marketing teams for integrated content. Previous roles include associate producer for ABC's "Soul of a Nation," production assistant for NBC's 91st Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and various positions at Good Morning America that have enriched skills in story development, production management, and audience engagement.
