Jeryl Bowers

Jerry leads Sheppard Mullin's 120+ attorney corporate practice group. His practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, health care, connected vehicle technology (automotive telematics) and emerging industries. He regularly assists clients with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, license agreements, outsourcing agreements and other corporate transactions. He is currently the Chair of Sheppard Mullin's Corporate Practice Group.

During the course of his legal career, Jeryl served as Vice President, Secretary & General Counsel at Medialive International Holdings, Inc. (Los Angeles), where he managed mergers and acquisitions, securities filings, employment, litigation and international transactions for the media conglomerate. In addition, Jeryl served as General Counsel at PetSmart.com, Inc. in Pasadena, where he negotiated agreements for venture capital financings, joint venture agreements, employment agreements, technology agreements and distribution agreements.

Mr. Bowers received his bachelor's degree in philosophy from Howard University and law degree from University of Chicago Law School.
