Dmitri Maslov

Dmitri Maslov is a Research Scientist at Google since July 2024 and has served as a Program Director and Expert at the National Science Foundation since October 2008, focusing on emerging models and technologies. Maslov previously held the position of Chief Software Architect for IBM Q from January 2019 to July 2024, leading the development of software for quantum computing. Experience also includes consulting for IonQ Inc., a visiting fellowship at the University of Maryland, and faculty roles at IQC/UWaterloo. Educational credentials include a PhD and Master's in Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor's and Master's in Mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
