Hemendra Kumar

Hemendra Kumar is a seasoned design leader currently serving as the Director of User Experience Design for Google Payments, overseeing a team of over 30 Product and Content designers since January 2025. Previously, Hemendra held the position of Director of Product Design and Research at Amazon Ads, managing a team of more than 60 designers and researchers from January to September 2024. Hemendra's extensive experience includes a tenure at Meta, where as the longest-serving Payments design leader, strategy and execution for MetaPay and Messaging Payments were directed, as well as managing high-profile teams in Ads. Earlier roles include Head of Consumer Design at LinkedIn, Founder of Ozzar Corp, Lead UX Designer at PayPal, and various positions in UI design across different companies. Hemendra holds a Master of Design in Visual Communication from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay and a Bachelor of Architecture from College of Architecture Lucknow.
