Joey Fitch

Joey Fitch is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer currently employed at Google since August 2021, with prior experience at PerformanceStar LLC, where innovative in-house Machine Learning platforms were developed. Previous roles include data science work at Hi Dev, where a Poisson model was created to predict inventory risks, and a teaching associate position at San Jose State University, responsible for numerous mathematics courses. Joey also provided leadership during a data science internship at Verizon, focusing on customer clustering for targeted marketing, and contributed to research at NASA by developing a novel clustering algorithm for galaxy distribution analysis. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Statistics & Applied Math and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, both from San Jose State University.
