Maruthy Vedam is a seasoned engineering executive with extensive experience in custom chip development and semiconductor technology. Currently serving as a Custom Chip Development Executive at Google since 2019, Maruthy Vedam has successfully delivered cutting-edge custom silicon solutions including AI/ML Tensor Processing Units and Video Accelerators. Prior experience includes a Senior Director of Engineering role at Intel Corporation, where Maruthy Vedam was instrumental in integrating engineering functions following Intel's acquisition of Altera and optimizing SoC development timelines. With a foundational career at Qualcomm, Maruthy Vedam built a global engineering organization pivotal to 3G/4G modem development. Additionally, Maruthy Vedam has contributed to various design automation conferences as a panelist and session chair, showcasing expertise in verification methodologies and functional verification challenges.
