Michael Carney

Michael Carney is a Venture Capital & Private Equity Partner Manager at Google since June 2013, focusing on the private equity and venture capital ecosystem as a thought leader and partner for investors and startups. Additionally, Michael serves as a Mentor for the Google.org Accelerator: Generative AI, supporting advanced AI applications that aim to address societal challenges. In a previous role as a Senior Account Executive for Google Customer Solutions, Michael specialized in e-commerce, providing brand consultation, Google Ads management, performance analysis, strategic planning, and stakeholder collaboration. Michael also holds investment roles at MOSH and Tauk, is a Network Expert at Female Founders Fund, and gained initial experience through various internships, including one at Warner/Chappell Music. Michael earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Music Business from Loyola University New Orleans.
