Rita Parada

Rita Parada is an experienced User Experience Researcher currently employed at Google since December 2023 and serves as the Founder and Director of an independent research consultancy, started in February 2023. Previously, Rita held the role of Principal UX Researcher for Central Product Growth at Meta from April 2020 to January 2023, focusing on emerging markets and digital inclusion. Prior to that, Rita was a Senior Staff Researcher at Twitter, leading international product research and promoting a people-centered strategy, and a Principal Design Researcher at Nokia, engaging in innovative product development. Rita has also contributed to various academic projects at Stanford University and founded multiple design-focused consultancies. Rita holds degrees in Socio-Cultural Anthropology, Electronic Communication Design, Design Art, and Graphic Design from various institutions, including San Francisco State University and Concordia University.
