Samia Hassen

Samia Hassen, CPA, currently serves as the International Controller at Google since November 2024. Prior to this position, Samia held roles at Canada Goose from April 2022 to October 2024, starting as a Senior Corporate Accountant and advancing to Manager of Corporate Accounting. Samia's experience at PwC from August 2021 to April 2022 included leading audit and review engagements for public enterprises and specializing in assurance services within the asset management and real estate sectors, along with a secondment to PwC Philadelphia. Earlier roles included being a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, supporting various accounting courses, and serving as an Assurance Associate at PwC from January 2018 to August 2020. Samia holds a Master's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Waterloo.
