Sridhar Lakshmanamurthy is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware architecture and silicon design. Currently serving as Director of Silicon at Google, Sridhar focuses on TPU architecture since August 2020. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Intel Corporation spanned from August 1993 to July 2020, where Sridhar held various positions including Senior Principal Engineer and Hardware Architect. Key contributions included leading the development of inference products for the AI Products Group, the IOSF protocol for autonomous driving, and multiple system-on-chip initiatives. Sridhar holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Rice University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Osmania University.
