Ray Chen

Ray Chen is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in manufacturing and engineering within the electric vehicle and battery industries. Currently serving as VP of International Manufacturing at Gotion Inc. since March 2019, Ray oversees global battery manufacturing facilities, focusing on key performance indicators and strategic issue resolution. Previously, Ray held significant leadership roles at NIO and Broad-Ocean Motor, leading manufacturing engineering teams and managing operations across multiple facilities. With a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Manitoba and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Donghua University, Ray Chen possesses a strong technical background complemented by a proven track record in operations improvement and program management.
