Divya Gupta

Divya Gupta is an accomplished energy and climate action professional with a diverse background in public sector roles, focusing on renewable energy asset management and emissions reduction strategies. Currently serving as the Energy and Climate Action Manager at BC Public Service, Divya has previously held positions such as Energy Analyst at Ontario Clean Water Agency, where Divya contributed to the development of an energy benchmarking tool for wastewater treatment. Experience also includes managing corporate emissions strategies at the City of New Westminster, enhancing community awareness of low-carbon policies at the Regional District Central Okanagan, and engaging multicultural communities as an Energy Mentor at Empower Me. Divya holds a Master’s degree in Clean Energy Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Punjab Technical University.
