Alex Hughes, PhD, currently serves as an Analyst for the Government of Canada. Hughes has previously held roles including Research and Foresight Associate and Researcher at eCampusOntario and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at York University, where responsibilities included instructing various history courses. Additional experience includes positions as Brand Manager and Brand Ambassador at Margaritaville, and involvement with organizations such as the Council of Ontario Universities, Terry Fox Foundation, and Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games Organizing Committee. Hughes holds a Doctor of Philosophy in History from York University, as well as a Master's Degree and an Honours B.A. in History, Political Science, and Communications from Wilfrid Laurier University.
