Ahmad Ashraf

Ahmad Ashraf is an accomplished transportation professional with extensive experience in traffic engineering and transportation planning. Currently serving as a Senior Transport Planner at Ras Al Khaimah Municipality Department since April 2023, Ahmad has previously held senior roles at SETS International and EGEC, focusing on traffic modelling and engineering from November 2020 to April 2023 and December 2016 to November 2020, respectively. Prior positions include working as a Senior Traffic & Transportation Engineer at Solaiman Abdullah Elkhereiji Consultants and as a Senior Transportation & Traffic Engineer at the Ministry of Transport in Egypt. Ahmad began a career in transportation as a Transportation & Traffic Engineer at Namat for Engineering Consultancy from October 2009 to June 2013. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Transportation Planning & Traffic Engineering from Cairo University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Al Azhar University.
