Sarjoh Aziz-Kamara

Sarjoh Aziz-Kamara currently serves as the Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education in the Government of Sierra Leone since May 2021, focusing on the transformation of higher education in alignment with the National Education Sector Plan 2022-2026. Prior to this role, Sarjoh Aziz-Kamara worked with the United Nations from February 2012 to April 2021 in various capacities, including Political Affairs Officer and Team Leader, Security Sector Reform Officer/Policy Adviser, and Civil Affairs/Security Sector Reform/Reporting Officer, primarily within the United Nations Mission in Liberia. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Violence, Conflict and Development from SOAS University of London, a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Management from the Chartered Management Institute, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sunderland, and certificates from the European Security and Defence College and the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre.
