Kristopher Knight

Kristopher Knight serves as a Board Member for the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) since July 2017. In addition, Kristopher Knight has held the position of Deputy Secretary of State and Director of the Delaware Division of Corporations, as well as State Comptroller and Director of the Division of Accounting for the State of Delaware since January 2011, serving as the chief accounting officer and overseeing the financial system with a team of 60 employees. Kristopher Knight is also the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Delaware Sustainable Energy Utility, where responsibilities include streamlining procurement and cash management policies for a $20M operating budget and developing internal controls to ensure proper segregation and monitoring of duties. Previously, Kristopher Knight worked at KPMG Audit from July 2004 to January 2011, advancing through various management roles. Kristopher Knight holds a BBA in Accounting from Loyola University Maryland.
