Lionel Wong

Lionel Wong is currently the Executive Director at gprnt since January 2025. Prior to this role, Lionel served in various capacities at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) from July 2015 to January 2025, including Deputy Director and Head of the Green FinTech Office, as well as Deputy Director and Cross-Border Payments Lead within the Payments Development and Data Connectivity Office. Lionel also held positions as Deputy Director and Team Leader in the Anti-Money Laundering Department. Earlier experience includes a role as a Policy Analyst at the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) from July 2013 to June 2015 and various positions at MAS from December 2009 to May 2013, culminating in the role of Assistant Director in the Financial Services Cooperation division. Lionel holds a BA (Hons) in Political Science and Government from the National University of Singapore, obtained in 2009.
