Varun Kansal

Varun Kansal has extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles, currently serving as the US R&D site lead and Head of Integrity at Grab since October 2016. Prior to this, Varun held various engineering leadership positions at Microsoft from July 2010 to September 2016, including Principal Group Engineering Manager, overseeing teams focused on Bing Local personalization and marketplace searches for Xbox and Windows. Earlier experience includes working at Microsoft Bing Ads from November 2003 to March 2010, where Varun developed the Mobile Ads SDK. Varun's educational background includes an Executive Leadership program at Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from REC/NIT Kurukshetra, India.
