Kanikka Sersia

Kanikka Sersia is a PHD Fellow at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies since September 2021. Sersia has held positions as a Researcher at Namma Yatri from July 2023 to March 2024, and an Intern at the International Labour Organization from September 2022 to March 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Fairwork from April to September 2021, and as a Junior Research Fellow at the Department of Sociology, DSE from October 2018 to September 2020. Sersia also served as a Research Associate at the V. V. Giri National Labour Institute for a short period in 2020. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology and Anthropology from the Geneva Graduate Institute (2021-2025), a Master of Philosophy in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics (2018-2020), a Master's degree in Sociology from the same institution (2016-2018), and a Bachelor's degree in Economics (Hons) from Delhi University (2011-2014). Sersia completed early education at CRPF Public School (1999-2011).
