Manoj Acharya

Manoj Acharya is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as VP of Engineering at Grafana Labs, following a strategic acquisition in November 2023. Previously, Manoj founded and led Asserts.ai from January 2020 to October 2023, focusing on enhancing troubleshooting workflows using Prometheus and OpenTelemetry metrics. Manoj played a key role at AppDynamics from 2009 to 2019, where responsibilities included incubating new ideas as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence, building a next-generation user experience monitoring platform, and pioneering Dev-Ops transformation. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President and Senior Architect at Citi, where initiatives included real-time integration architecture, and contributing as a founding engineer at Tavant Technologies and Pramati Technologies, with notable contributions to industry standards. Manoj holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, and has further education from the Indian Institute of Science.
