Mike O'Hara

Mike O'Hara is the Group HSEQ Director at Grafton Group plc since September 2017, focusing on developing health, safety, environmental, and quality management strategies to ensure employee safety and environmental protection. As a Director at Behavioural Safety Mentors Ltd since January 2017, Mike advocates for effective behavioral safety strategies to ensure employee well-being. Previously, Mike served as the Health & Safety Director at Travis Perkins plc, where a Group safety team was established during significant organizational expansion, and a behavioral safety initiative was implemented. Mike also held the position of Group Health & Safety Manager at ATS Euromaster, managing a national team to integrate safety practices across Europe. Earlier in the career, Mike worked as the Group Environmental Health Manager at Scottish & Newcastle plc, overseeing environmental health practices in retail and hospitality. Mike holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health, both from The University of Salford.
