Tim Brand

Tim Brand is an experienced software developer and technology leader with a robust background in backend and full-stack development. Currently serving as a Senior Backend Developer and Tech Lead at GrandVision BV since June 2022, Tim has previously contributed as a Full-stack Developer in IoT at Schiphol, where microservices for IoT sensor data were developed. As the Founder and Lead Developer of Klasbord, Tim established a secure communication platform for primary schools, enhancing parental engagement. Tim's earlier roles include Senior Developer at Onderijs Innovatie Groep and a notable iOS/Android Developer at Verkeers Informatie Dienst VID, where a traffic-reducing app was created during a competition. Tim's career also encompasses positions at Pingvalue, Han Dataport, Scanshare Applications B.V., and MyHomeServices. Tim holds an education from Avans University of Applied Sciences.
