Dan Newland

Dan Newland has extensive experience in data management and implementation, currently serving as the General Manager for GraphAware in the A/NZ region since August 2022. Prior to this role, Dan held the position of Director and Graph Database Implementation Lead at the Australian Taxation Office from September 2021 to August 2022. Dan also contributed to the Australian Federal Police as a Team Leader in Data Science and Big Data Engineer from February 2019 to September 2021. Earlier experience includes working as a Data Analyst at Deloitte Australia from July 2017 to December 2018. Dan holds a Master of Information Technology with a focus on Data Science and dual bachelor's degrees in Behavioural Science (Psychology) and Justice (Criminology & Policing) from Queensland University of Technology.
