Trevor Lawhorn

Trevor Lawhorn is a litigator with experience across multiple industries. Because he understands that litigation can be inconvenient for businesses and disrupt personal lives, he works closely with clients to understand their concerns and develop a path to a favorable resolution. Clients can count on Trevor to not only explain what the next step is, but also why the next step should be taken.

Since joining Gray Reed in 2017, he has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of cases involving contract disputes, fraud, theft, and unfair competition. Trevor has also represented clients in actions brought by the United States Department of Justice and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.

Before joining Gray Reed, he attended SMU Dedman School of Law where he served as the Alternative Dispute Resolution Symposium Editor for the SMU Law Review Association, represented clients through the SMU Consumer Advocacy Project, worked for judges in state and federal courts, and received the Frank and Debbie Branson Trial Advocacy Scholarship for his demonstrated excellence in SMU’s trial advocacy program.
