Idong Essiet-Gibson

Idong Essiet-Gibson, PhD, PMP, currently serves as a Strategic Advisor at CircNova, Inc. and is a member of the Investment Leadership Team at She's Independent, a women-first investment group. As a member of the Management Committee for the Maryland Tech Council, Idong participates in the organization's Volunteer Mentor Service. Idong is the Principal at The Idyeas Group, a consultancy focused on health and life sciences, providing strategic advice and program management services. Previous roles include Advisory Board Member at Fleri, Scientific Advisory Board Member at Great Lakes Biologics, and significant positions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as Senior Advisor for Special Initiatives and Deputy Associate Director for Health Information and Epidemiology. Additional experience includes program management at the National Institutes of Health and the US Department of Health and Human Services. Idong holds a PhD in Public Health from Walden University, an MPH from The George Washington University, and an MS from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
