Shekhar Bhattacharjee

Shekhar Bhattacharjee is an accomplished entrepreneur in the education sector, serving as the Founder of Edstead since June 2012, previously known as SkillTree Knowledge Consortium, which produces compelling storytelling around Indian education. As the Founder and CEO of Great Place to Study since June 2014, Shekhar developed a pioneering education rating system focused on student satisfaction, successfully expanding operations to multiple countries by 2020. Additionally, from June 2020 to July 2023, Shekhar founded and led DALHAM, an innovative online school that emphasized modern skills within a liberal education framework. Educationally, Shekhar holds a degree in Higher Education Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education and has attended the University of Oxford, among other institutions.
