Roxy Traxler

Roxy Traxler has been working in county administration for over a decade. Roxy began their career as the Chief Administrative Officer for Mille Lacs County in 2006. In this role, they were responsible for the overall operation of county government, working under the direction of the County Board of Commissioners. Roxy also established goals and objectives for all county departments, managed the County budget, and coordinated the management of County finances.

In 2013, Traxler joined the Minnesota Association of County Administrators as a Member of the Board of Directors. In this role, they served as an advocate for county administrators and provided input on issues affecting county government.

In 2015, Traxler became the County Administrator for Sibley County. In this role, they were responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions of the County and oversaw all departments and programs. Roxy also directed and coordinated the management of County finances, including the preparation and presentation of proposed annual budgets and a Capital Improvement Plan.

In 2019, Traxler was elected as Governor for Visit Mankato at Greater Mankato Growth. In this role, they are responsible for promoting Mankato as a destination for visitors, conventions, and events.

Roxy Traxler has a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato and a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, General from The College of St. Scholastica. Roxy is currently working on their PhD in Public Leadership and Management at Hamline University.
