Elise Nilles

Elise Nilles currently serves as the Director of Strategic Member Engagement at the Greater Phoenix Chamber since November 2024. Prior to this role, Elise held multiple positions at the Valley of the Sun YMCA from August 2017 to November 2024, including Associate Executive Director of Civic Engagement Collaborative and Senior Program Director of Civic Engagement and Youth Leadership. Elise also worked as a receptionist at Coulter Nissan from August 2016 to August 2017 and held a legislative intern position at the City of Buckeye in early 2016. Earlier experience includes roles at the Valley of the Sun YMCA and Fry's Food and Drug, demonstrating a strong background in community engagement and leadership. Elise's educational qualifications comprise a certification from the YMCA Leadership Academy in 2018, and a degree in Political Science from Arizona State University, along with additional studies at Glendale Community College and Rio Salado College.
