Thomas Baas has extensive experience in both manufacturing and emergency services. Since December 2011, Thomas has been with Green Bay Packaging as a first shift corrugator utility and lead person, assisting the supervisor with daily tasks, managing breaks for the dry end of the machine, and filling in for six different roles while supervising in the absence of the supervisor. Additionally, Thomas has served as a firefighter for Charter Township of Kalamazoo since January 2009, responding to fire-related and medical emergencies.
