Mark Mahoney

Mark Mahoney is a seasoned financial and investment professional with extensive experience in asset management and capital markets. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Berkshire Global Advisors since January 2024, Mahoney co-founded Green Dot Holdings LLC in March 2011, where innovative bioplastics are developed. Prior roles include President and Chief Investment Officer at Gulf Stream Asset Management LLC from 2019 to 2023, and a partner role at Apollo Global Management LLC following the sale of Gulf Stream in 2011. Mahoney founded Gulf Stream in 2002, growing it to over $5 billion in assets under management before its acquisition. Earlier in their career, Mahoney held executive positions at Wells Fargo and First Union, where significant growth and profitability were achieved across investment banking and capital markets divisions. Mahoney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Economics from Duke University.
