Arthur Swartwout

Arthur Swartwout joined the company in September 2019 as an Associate Management Consultant doing project finance control for IT projects at Exelon, a Fortune 100 utilities company. Prior to Greencastle, Arthur spent 10 years on active duty in the United States Army with deployments to Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan. In Iraq in 2004, Arthur led a tank platoon with 2-63 Armor and saw action in and around the city of Baquba. In Afghanistan in 2011, he led a 110-person logistics company supporting 1-32 Infantry in the Horn of Panjwai near the city of Kandahar. In addition to his individual awards, the units he was part of were awarded the Meritorious Unit Commendation and the Valorous Unit Award. Arthur holds a degree in Geography and Environmental Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. A native of Baltimore, he spends much of his free time building a nonprofit called the Baltimore Stakeholders, which aims to bring together Baltimore children from different socioeconomic backgrounds for community service and team-building activities.
