Wendy S. Ernzen

Wendy S. Ernzen, MPA, currently serves as a Fund Development Advisor at Schmucker Advising Group and hosts, creates, and produces the Let’s Plant Houses Podcast, which focuses on sharing stories of parenting children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With extensive experience in nonprofit development, Wendy has held key positions, including Governance Chair at The Greening of Detroit and Director of Development at The Arc of Northwest Wayne County. Wendy’s work at the Autism Alliance of Michigan involved launching a legacy society and developing donor engagement processes. Previously, Wendy served as Development and Grants Manager at CultureSource and Director at WSE Nonprofit Consulting, providing various fund development services. Wendy holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oakland University, and is affiliated with the Grant Professionals Association and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
