Bert Diaz

Based at the New York office, Bert provides legal oversight for the US, South America, and Central America businesses. He joined Libra from Akerman Senterfitt (Fort Lauderdale), whereas a partner in the Corporate and Global Practice Groups he focussed on commercial clients in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Bert was formerly a partner in the International Practice Group of Greenberg Traurig (Miami) where he specialized in private and public cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and large-scale corporate finance. Bert obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, his bachelor's degree from Tufts University, and was admitted to practice in 1994 (USA, Florida Bar).
