Phyllis Starkey

Phyllis has been a board member since 2015.

She is a member of the Remuneration and People Committee.

As a Member of Parliament for 13 years, Phyllis was Chair of the Communities and Local Government Select Committee. She was also a board member at the Landscape Institute, the professional body for landscape architects.

Phyllis is currently a non-executive board member at St Martins, a leading provider of mental healthcare and accommodation in London, and a trustee of Medical Aid for Palestinians.

She believes that as a social housing provider, GreenSquare has a key role in supporting and strengthening a more equitable local community. Through her work on the board, she hopes to help shape policies that can make a real difference in people’s lives.
