Mario Herrera

Mario Herrera is a seasoned Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing network infrastructures across various organizations. Currently employed at Gridiron IT since August 2021, Mario leads the transition of Air National Guard network systems from Avaya to Cisco. Previous roles include Senior Network Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology, where Mario designed and configured robust communications networks, and ISE/Armis Engineer at Core4ce, focusing on network access control and security implementations for the DHA Network. Mario’s background also includes network engineering at Jacobs, technical management at C4 Planning Solutions, and military service with the US Army, where valuable skills in network operations and training were developed. Mario holds a certification as an IT Specialist from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers.
