Niels Kaarsholm

Niels Kaarsholm is a Clinical Translation Advisor at GRO Biosciences. Niels has also worked as a Distinguished Scientist at Merck, VP Science & Technology at MC2 Therapeutics, and Vice President and Head of R&D at Fertin Pharma A/S. Prior to that, they spent 21 years at Novo Nordisk A/S, where they were Corporate Vice President and Head of Diabetes Protein Engineering. There, they were responsible for the development of first generation insulin analogs, insulin formulation and delivery projects and portfolio, next generation insulin and incretin analogs, formulations and pre-mixes, and analogs and formulations for oral delivery.

Niels Kaarsholm is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of California, Riverside. Niels received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in physical & biophysical chemistry from Danmarks Tekniske Universitet.
