Danilo Popovikj is a backend software engineer at GrocerKey. Danilo has been with the company since December 2020 and has been responsible for moving parts of a monolith backend to separate microservices, migrating data and smoothly feature flag releasing them for each one of the tenants. Danilo has successfully built and delivered a impression/click counting service with AWS Redshift warehousing and Apache Kafka. Danilo has also successfully moved payments from monolith to separate microservice, while supporting multiple payment providers and created a smooth migration from the monolith using feature flags and A/B testing.
Before joining GrocerKey, Danilo worked as a software developer at IT Labs from July 2017 to December 2020. There they built multiple back-ends for enterprise-level projects, mostly creating and using .NET Core Web Apis, serverless functions, and AWS/Azure cloud services within a microservice architecture.
Danilo Popovikj has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering - Skopje.
