Przemysław Rasz graduated in 1988 with a Master's degree in Chemical and Food Industry Engineer from the Poznań University of Technology, the program of which included the second faculty in the field of Management at the Poznań University of Economics. In 1998, he additionally completed post-graduate studies in "Value Based Management" at the Warsaw School of Economics. In 1989 he joined the company Izolacja Zduńska Wola, with which he worked for the next 28 years. Appointed to the management board of the company in 1994, he was a leading member of the team responsible for its listing on the WSE in 1996. In 1999, after the acquisition of a controlling stake by the world leader in roof waterproofing, the Danish company Icopal as, he became the president of the Polish organization, and two years later a member of the Icopal global board with responsibility for the area of innovation and business development. Icopal Polska, led by Mr. Rasz, experienced a period of consistent development, which consisted of a number of strategic acquisitions, greenfield investments, restructuring and implementation of new products and systems, which established Icopal as the absolute leader in its market niche in Poland and in the region. Przemysław Rasz has developed close cooperation with technical universities, which resulted in the introduction to the market of a number of innovative solutions in the field of water protection systems. At the same time, in a corporate role, he was a co-creator of a strong and uniform global organism, which was created from the merger of local acquired companies. After the takeover in 2007 In 2008, Icopal, through the private equity fund Investcorp, assumed direct responsibility for the region of Central and Eastern Europe, for which he was responsible until 2016. During this time, the fund sold its shares to US strategic investor, Standard Industry. Przemysław Rasz actively participated in the transaction, including as a steward of a group of several dozen key managers / minority shareholders. For the next two years he was the Vice President of the Global Management Board of the Icopal Group with its seat in London. In the social and business dimension, Przemysław Rasz was: Member of the Construction Products Council at the Minister, Chief Building Supervision Inspector - 2 terms; Member of the Scientific Council of the Building Research Institute in Warsaw - 2 terms, Member of the Council of the Chamber of Building Design in Warsaw - 2 terms; Vice-president of the Presidium of the Polish Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Construction - 4 terms; and the Chairman of the Construction Committee of the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw - 2 terms. Przemysław Rasz has been conducting advisory and supervisory activities since 2019. In 2019 and 2020, he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Worthhouse Inc., the US subsidiary of the Budmat Group until the COVID19 restrictions; he is an Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Grupa Kapitałowa Kęty SA. He is dedicated to the largest Polish Gallery of Silver and Light R&R in Łódź, of which he is the owner.
