Alessandro Carneiro

Alessandro Carneiro is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in power management and portfolio management. Currently serving as the Director of Power Management at Energisa since April 2017, Alessandro oversees a substantial portfolio of Power Purchase Agreements totaling R$ 10 billion annually, while implementing strategies to optimize energy supply and mitigate risks. Prior to this role, Alessandro held various senior positions at Brookfield Renewable from March 2007 to April 2017, including Director of Portfolio Management, where responsibilities encompassed asset management, structured transactions, and M&A support. Alessandro’s career began at Petrobras as a Back-Office Analyst from March 2005 to March 2007. Academically, Alessandro holds an MBA from COPPEAD UFRJ and an engineering degree from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
