Sante Gnerre

Sante Gnerre is an accomplished bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across several companies. Currently serving as Principal Bioinformatics Scientist at Guardant Health since June 2018, Gnerre has also held positions such as Senior Staff Bioinformatics Scientist and Director of Bioinformatics. Previous experience includes Associate Director of Bioinformatics at GRAIL, Inc. and Illumina, as well as Director of Algorithm Development at Nabsys. Earlier in the career, Gnerre contributed as Senior Computational Biologist and Group Leader at the Broad Institute. Gnerre holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained between 1990 and 1997.
